Fatty liver can be regarded as the "invisible killer" among urban diseases. Since fatty liver does not necessarily have obvious symptoms, most patients find liver inflammation and damage through liver function blood tests or abdominal ultrasound examinations. The conditions caused by fatty liver vary widely and can range from simple fat accumulation to steatohepatitis and scarring. If steatohepatitis occurs, it will lead to signs of liver fibrosis, which may lead to liver cirrhosis. In severe cases, it may lead to liver failure or liver cancer. Alcoholics, type 2 diabetes patients, obese people and people with abnormal blood lipids are at higher risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A small number of patients may experience loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, right upper quadrant discomfort and fatigue, etc. If in doubt, imaging examination or Fibroscan can be performed to evaluate the liver fat content and the degree of fibrosis. If there is serious liver disease, the patient will be arranged to undergo a liver biopsy for diagnosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the disease of fatty liver can be big or small, by improving the living habits, the risk of the disease can still be reduced and the condition can be improved. It is recommended to start with the following most basic methods:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
