Because the symptoms of lupus erythematosus are related to &quot;photosensitivity&quot;, ultraviolet rays in the sun are one of the triggers. Doctors analyze the symptoms, causes, complications and prevention of lupus erythematosus\u300b<\/a>\u3011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For ordinary people, long-term exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet light (including ultraviolet light) will cause skin damage that cannot be seen by the naked eye. There is often a misconception that on cloudy and gloomy days, there is no need to worry about sunburn and neglect sun protection measures. But long-term excessive sun exposure does increase your chances of developing skin cancer, and the consequences are much more serious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UV rays are the main cause of skin cancer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Skin cancer is usually divided into two categories: &quot;Melanoma&quot; and &quot;Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer&quot;. The latter ranks the 8th among the top ten common cancers in Hong Kong in 2019!<br><br>In addition to ultraviolet rays themselves being the main cause of skin cancer, as we age, the accumulation of ultraviolet rays in the skin will increase day by day, and the risk of skin cancer will also increase day by day. Other risk factors include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>fair skin, not easy to tan but easy to burn<\/li><li>There are many moles on the body<\/li><li>a weak immune system<\/li><li>Personal or family history of skin cancer<\/li><li>was sunburned in early life<\/li><li>had radiation therapy<\/li><li>Frequent exposure to asphalt, arsenic, coking coal and other chemicals<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&quot;ABCDE rule&quot; to diagnose skin cancer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abnormal growths, bumps, or other changes on the skin can be signs of skin cancer. Doctors generally use the &quot;ABCDE rule&quot; as a reference for clinical judgment of skin cancer. If patients notice the following characteristics in skin tissue, they should seek medical attention as soon as possible for diagnosis and further examination, so as not to delay the condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>A<\/strong> symmetry: asymmetric shape<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>B<\/strong> order: Irregular border<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Color<\/strong> : uneven color<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Diameter<\/strong> : diameter greater than 6 mm<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>E<\/strong> evolution: changes occur, including increased volume, color changes, itching, pain, wounds, inflammation, bleeding, ulcers, etc.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After clinical judgment, if the doctor has doubts about the symptoms or worries about skin cancer, he will usually arrange for the patient to undergo a skin biopsy to distinguish whether the skin lump is benign or malignant. If a malignant tumor is confirmed by laboratory tests, but all cancer cells have been removed during the biopsy, no further surgery is required. However, it should be noted that if the cancer cells are in the spreading stage, other examinations are needed to diagnose whether there are cancer cells in other parts of the patient&#039;s body, such as computerized tomography scan (CT Scan), magnetic resonance scan (MRI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">treat skin cancer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because there are different types and severities of skin cancer, doctors will treat them accordingly. Usually surgery, electrocautery and curettage, cryotherapy, local chemotherapy, etc. can successfully remove the early skin cancer mass; if the disease has spread or surgery cannot be performed due to other reasons, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, or even biological therapy and immunotherapy should be considered. No matter which method is used, the patient must have regular follow-up visits after treatment to let the doctor follow up whether there is a recurrence of the disease or new skin cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Skin cancer prevention and skin care are not just for beauty<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although we cannot detect ultraviolet rays with the naked eye, there is no way to prevent skin cancer.
