Ivy pleaded, "Can we try to implant the embryo first?" The doctor explained that polyp removal surgery would not hinder future in vitro fertilization treatment. Instead, it would remove obstacles to embryo implantation. Because polyps occupy space in the uterine cavity, just like stones in the soil hindering seed implantation, even if the embryo is implanted, it may not implant, wasting the opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, studies have confirmed that polyps can cause the endometrium to remain in a state of persistent mild inflammation. This inflammatory environment is harmful to the fragile embryo, and risking implantation could not only disrupt its development but, in severe cases, even affect its survival rate. Furthermore, within 72 hours of implantation, the endometrium needs to release "signals" to welcome the embryo. However, the presence of polyps can disrupt the transmission of these signals, potentially rendering the uterus unprepared for embryo implantation and potentially preventing successful conception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
